Heather MacLeod
Grain Originator, Great Lakes Grain
We are pleased to welcome Heather MacLeod to the Great Lakes Grain team.
Heather will be supporting the grain origination in the Chatham-Kent zone which includes Chatham, Tupperville, Thamesville, Murkirk and Highgate areas.
Heather, along with her husband and daughter recently moved their farm from Thamesville to build up their new home and farm just west of Chatham.
Heather grew up on a grain crop farm just outside of Dresden, and is a graduate of the Agriculture program at the University of Guelph.
Heather most recently worked on the crop production, technology-based agronomy and inputs associated with seed soybean production.
Heather says, “Interacting with growers and producers is the part I enjoy the most, helping them to be successful.”
“In my free time I enjoy boating or golfing and you’ll likely find me in a rink watching and cheering on my daughter as she figure skates competitively. Also, a lot of my free time is spent as a director with the Chatham Skating Club where I serve as Secretary.”
Heather can be reached at (226) 626-0645. Her email is HeatherMacLeod@greatlakesgrain.com.
Welcome Heather!
