Merchandising Assistant, Great Lakes Grain

Garrett has accepted the role of Merchandising Assistant at Great Lakes Grain.

Garrett graduated from the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus in 2019 with an associate diploma in agriculture.

Garrett was born and raised in Wallacetown, where he still lives. He comes from a cash crop farm and has worked in agriculture his entire life. He’s had different roles connected to farming, such as a labourer, grain trucking and farm equipment repair. Over the past few years, Garrett’s focus has been in grain merchandising and agriculture business accounting.

Garrett says, “I am excited to be of service to my fellow staff and customers and to develop and learn key skills in the grain merchandising industry. I look forward to meeting and speaking to everyone.”

Garrett enjoys filling his weekends by playing wheelchair rugby.
