Connor Charlton has accepted the position of Grain Originator, serving Essex County. He will be working out of the AGRIS Co-operative - Stoney Point branch.

Conner has been a crop specialist at the AGRIS Co-op Chatham branch and with this position has the opportunity to focus on the grain side of the relationship with AGRIS customers.

Connor received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (crop, horticulture and turfgrass sciences) from the University of Guelph. He also worked to receive his CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) designation.

Connor has a passion for grain marketing, agronomy, weed science and precision agriculture.

Connor is from the Merlin area, where his family has a cash crop farm growing I.P. soybeans, wheat and corn.

Connor says, “I’m truly looking forward to meeting our Essex area customers.”

In his downtime, Connor enjoys boating, travelling and snowmobiling.
